Tips for Mountain Engagement Sessions
If you’re planning an engagement session in the mountains, here’s how to make it an easy, fun, and cozy experience:
- Grab your Kananaskis Conservation Pass
It’s required to park in Kananaskis. You can grab yours here and make sure it’s visible in your car. - Wear good shoes or bring a change
Heels on a mountain trail? Not it. Bring hiking boots or something sturdy, and we can always switch to cuter shoes once we’re on location. - Dress in layers
It will get chilly between shots. Cozy jackets, shawls, or even a cute blanket you can snuggle in between takes make a big difference. - Embrace the weather
The wind might mess up your hair. It might rain. But honestly, the moody skies and tousled looks make for some of the most real and romantic photos. Be ready to embrace it all! - Bring water + snacks
