Typically, I shoot solo, but if you book photography and videography, I have trusted associates to team up with. Some packages do include a 2nd shooter, we can talk about the benefits of having one and customize your package during our initial meeting.
Yes, drone footage comes with no additional charge. Weather and venue permitting!
I’ll ask for your music preferences in one of my early questionnaires. After the wedding, I’ll send you a link to pick your fav songs from my library. I will add songs based on the footage and the narrative I’m creating if needed.
While I’m shooting, everything is saved to two cards. After your wedding, I immediately back up all footage to both a hard drive system and the cloud. There are always multiple copies of your memories!
I like to capture your wedding day as it unfolds while taking special note of the details that you’ve put into it. I never want you to feel awkward or uncomfortable in front of the camera, and I’ll step up when needed to ensure you look your best and we’re keeping up with the schedule.
I recommend 45 minutes to an hour of portrait time for you, at least an hour for bridal party photos, and at least 30 minutes for family pictures. I also like to sneak my couples out during golden hour if I can to get a couple extra photos in that beautiful natural light!
The exact time you’ll need depends on factors like how large your wedding party is, and we’ll discuss specifics when we meet to ensure there’s plenty of time and we’re not rushing.
I’ll send a sneak peek a week after your wedding. Then, editing takes 12 to 16 weeks.
A story session is like an engagement session, but rather than capturing you posing, I’ll grab footage of you doing something fun or significant, like a date night or a visit to an important location. I’ll get you mic’d up and ask you to talk about your journey together thus far.
I’ll incorporate some of this footage into your film to tell a comprehensive story of your love up to your wedding day.
Yes, each photography package includes an album. I think it’s so special to be able to physically hold your memories, so the first 20 pages of your album are my wedding gift to you.
An engagement session is an hour-long session. There are two types, normal (Calgary) or Adventure (outside Calgary.) This session includes 2 outfits and gives us plenty of time to connect and get you comfortable in front of the camera. You can use your engagement photos for your wedding website, save the dates, or to frame in your home!
Weddings within 2 hours of Calgary are free. If you’re getting married somewhere else, we can discuss travel arrangements during our meeting.
Yes, I do! After we meet to talk about your dream day, I’ll tweak the packages as needed to fit your vision and send you a custom proposal.
